ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,599,961, issued on April 14, was assigned to NORITAKE Co. Ltd. (Japan).
"Noble metal fine particle and use thereof" was invented by Yukiko Kikugawa (Nagoya, Japan), Keiko Kato (Nagoya, Japan) and Yoshiki Watanabe (Nagoya, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A noble metal fine particle herein disclosed includes a noble metal element as a main constituent metal element. An imine compound is held on a surface, and an amine/imine ratio (A/I ratio) of an area ratio of a peak area of the imine compound and a peak area of an amine compound determined in pyrolysis GCMS analysis with a pyrolysis temperature of 300deg C. is 1 or less."
