ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,556,281, issued on Feb. 17, was assigned to Nokia Solutions and Networks OY (Espoo, Finland).

"Pluggable optical transceiver module" was invented by Marc Preuss (Ottawa) and William dos Santos Fegadolli (Azusa, Calif.).
