ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,528,733, issued on Jan. 20, was assigned to Nippon Sheet Glass Co. Ltd. (Tokyo).
"Transparent laminate" was invented by Koji Takahashi (Tokyo), Hisao Imai (Tokyo), Kazuaki Oya (Tokyo) and Kiyomi Hayashi (Tokyo).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A cover member according to the present invention includes a transparent substrate that has a first main surface and a second main surface and a transparent first functional layer that is layered on the first main surface of the substrate."
The patent was filed on Dec. 25, 2020, under Application No. 17/788,810.
