ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,649,683, issued on June 9, was assigned to NIKON Corp. (Tokyo).
"Optical glass, optical element, optical system, interchangeable lens, and optical device" was invented by Kohei Yoshimoto (Tokyo).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided is an optical glass including: by mol % of a cation, 5% to 20% of a content rate of Si4+; 18% to 35% of a content rate of Al3+; 15% to 50% of a total content rate of La3+, Y3+, and Gd3+; 2% to 15% of a content rate of Zr4+; and 8% to 30% of a content rate of Ta5+, wherein a ratio of the content rate of Al3+ to a total content rate of Si4+ and Al3+ (Al3+/(Si4++Al3+)) is from 0.5 to 0.85."
