US Patent Issued to NICOVENTURES TRADING on May 5 for "Aerosol generation" (British Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,616,238, issued on May 5, was assigned to NICOVENTURES TRADING Ltd. (London).

"Aerosol generation" was invented by Joanna Soffe (London) and Thomas Leah (London).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An aerosol-generating material including an amorphous solid, wherein the amorphous solid includes: a gelling agent; an aerosol-former material; a flavorant and/or active substance; and a filler; wherein the filler extends only partially through a thickness of the amorphous solid."

The patent was filed on Aug. 13, 2021, under Application No. 18/041,583.
