ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,561,841, issued on Feb. 24, was assigned to NEC Corp. (Tokyo).
"Multilinear domain-specific domain generalization" was invented by Shaobo Han (Princeton, N.J.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A multilinear domain-specific domain generalization (MDSDG) approach that utilizes information stored in multilinear indices of data domains to improve machine learning. In particular-based on limited sample size(s) in observed scenarios-an array of models is jointly trained, which advantageously are generalized to a new, unseen scenario, where only domain descriptions in the form of multilinear indices are available."
