ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,601,079, issued on April 14, was assigned to NAN YA PLASTICS Corp. (Taipei City, Taiwan).

"High heat-resistant antioxidant solutions for lithium battery copper foil" was invented by Ching-Yao Yuan (Taipei City, Taiwan), Hung-Yi Chang (Taipei City, Taiwan), Wei-Sheng Cheng (Taipei City, Taiwan), Yu-Chi Hsieh (Taipei City, Taiwan) and Hsin-Hui Chiu (Taipei City, Taiwan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention provides a high heat-resistant antioxidant solution for lithium battery copper foil, including hexavalent chromium and organic compounds containing heteroatoms, and the heteroatoms include N, O, S or P."
