ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,676,260, issued on July 7, was assigned to Murata Manufacturing Co. Ltd. (Kyoto-fu, Japan).
"Inductor" was invented by Seiya Kikuchi (Nagaokakyo, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An inductor in which when transparently viewed in an axis-line direction of a coil, a center position of a long via conductor in a width direction, which is a direction orthogonal to a longitudinal direction of the long via conductor, is deviated from a center position in the width direction of a first pad portion which is one of the pad portions and connected to the long via conductor."
