ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,703,579, issued on Aug. 11, was assigned to MS Ultraschall Technologie GmbH (Spaichingen, Germany).
"Apparatus and method for processing a workpiece" was invented by Volker Krell (Neuhausen ob Eck, Germany).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An apparatus for processing a workpiece with ultrasound comprises a base frame having a slide. A tool holder is connected to the slide via leaf springs, whereby a lifting device can move the tool holder relative to the slide."
The patent was filed on Sept. 2, 2022, under Application No. 18/697,990.
