ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,644,728, issued on June 2, was assigned to Moving Magnet Technologies (Besancon, France).

"Magnet sensor and ferromagnetic poles" was invented by Didier Frachon (Besancon, France).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A magnetic position sensor comprises at least one magnetically sensitive element capable of moving relative to a permanent magnet producing a magnetic field, the magnet of which is embedded in a support made of soft ferromagnetic material having two pole shoes located on either side of the magnet."

The patent was filed on March 8, 2022, under Application No. 18/549,680.
