ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,599,107, issued on April 14, was assigned to Morfeldt Geotechnology AB (Figeholm, Sweden).
"Mattress for livestock" was invented by Caj Morfeldt (Figeholm, Sweden).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A mattress for livestock may include a casing at least partially filed with sand. One or more drains may be provided to allow liquid to drain through the mattress. A water permeability of the one or more drains may be larger than a water permeability of the mattress at portions surrounding the drains."
The patent was filed on Aug. 22, 2024, under Application No. 18/812,254.
