US Patent Issued to Momenta Pharmaceuticals on Feb. 24 for "Glycoproteins with anti-inflammatory properties" (California, Massachusetts Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,559,542, issued on Feb. 24, was assigned to Momenta Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Titusville, N.J.).

"Glycoproteins with anti-inflammatory properties" was invented by Hetal Sarvaiya (Foster City, Calif.), Nathaniel J. Washburn (Littleton, Mass.), Enrique Arevalo (Dorchester, Mass.) and Carlos J. Bosques (Arlington, Mass.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Glycoproteins having particular sialylation patterns, and methods of making and using such glycoproteins, are described."
