ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,648,877, issued on June 9, was assigned to Molnlycke Health Care AB (Molndal, Sweden).

"Negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) dressing" was invented by Malin Holmen (Gothenburg, Sweden) and Elinor Bolyos (Landvetter, Sweden).
