ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,485,044, issued on Dec. 2, was assigned to Molnlycke Health Care AB (Molndal, Sweden).
"Wound dressing" was invented by Karin Ostan (Nodinge, Sweden) and Erik Batelson (Vastra Frolunda, Sweden).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure generally relates to a wound dressing for a wound, specifically adapted for reducing the risk of disturbance of the wound when removing the wound dressing. The present disclosure also relates to a wound treatment method."
The patent was filed on Sept. 16, 2019, under Application No. 17/277,609.
