ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,600,784, issued on April 14, was assigned to Millennium Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Cambridge, Mass.).

"Anti-Clec12A antibodies and uses thereof" was invented by Tomoki Yoshihara (Cambridge, Mass.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Antibodies, fragments thereof and fusion proteins that specifically bind to Clec12A, are described, as well as methods of making and using such antibodies. Such antibodies, fusion proteins and fragments thereof are useful for the treatment and diagnosis of various autoimmune diseases and cancers, including leukemia, lymphoma, or myeloma, including, for example, acute myeloid leukemia."
