ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,625,910, issued on May 12, was assigned to Microsoft Technology Licensing LLC (Redmond, Wash.).

"Hand-drawing shape-based document retrieval" was invented by Ran Bi (Beijing), Yingxia Li (Redmond, Wash.), Yuwang Wang (Redmond, Wash.) and Xiaoyi Zhang (Redmond, Wash.).
