ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,664,748, issued on June 23, was assigned to Microsoft Technology Licensing LLC (Redmond, Wash.).

"AI-based digital 3D engraving based on a user-uploaded image" was invented by Farzaneh Rajabi (San Jose, Calif.), Ji Li (San Jose, Calif.) and Priyanka Vikram Sinha (Sunnyvale, Calif.).
