US Patent Issued to Microsoft Technology Licensing on April 7 for "IoT enhanced search results" (American, Indian Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,596,758, issued on April 7, was assigned to Microsoft Technology Licensing LLC (Redmond, Wash.).

"IoT enhanced search results" was invented by Abhineet Mishra (Bothell, Wash.) and Venkata Madhu Sravanth Kurumaddali (Hyderabad, India).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The discussion relates to providing more relevant search results to a user based upon information relating to IoT devices associated with the user. One example can receive search results for a search query associated with the user. The example can obtain entities from IoT devices associated with the user and rank the search results utilizing the entities from the IoT devices." ...
