ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,702,315, issued on Aug. 11, was assigned to Meta Platforms Technologies LLC (Menlo Park, Calif.).
"Health notifications from eye measurements" was invented by Sebastian Sztuk (Menlo Park, Calif.) and Salvael Ortega Estrada (Redmond, Wash.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Eye data is captured with one or more sensors of a head mounted device. The one or more sensors are configured to sense an eyebox region. A differential value is generated by comparing the eye data to previous data. A user notification is generated in response to the differential value reaching an outlier threshold value."
