ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,673,103, issued on July 7, was assigned to Merck Sharp & Dohme LLC (Rahway, N.J.).

"HPV vaccine" was invented by Marian E. Gindy (Haledon, N.J.), John P. Bilello (San Carlos, Calif.), Amy S. Espeseth (Chalfont, Pa.), Andrew J. Bett (Lansdale, Pa.) and Tong-Ming Fu (Philadelphia).
