US Patent Issued to Meacor on May 26 for "Face mask" (Lebanese, Canadian Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,636,525, issued on May 26, was assigned to Meacor Inc. (Irvine, Calif.).

"Face mask" was invented by Toufic Azar (Montreal), Renzo Cecere (Mont-Royal, Canada), Anthony Eid (Bsaba, Lebanon) and Omar Labban (Beirut).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A face mask including shape memory materials to improve fit to the face and/or create a cavity in front of the mouth to facilitate breathing."

The patent was filed on March 22, 2022, under Application No. 17/701,384.
