ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,600,799, issued on April 14, was assigned to MAX-PLANCK-GESELLSCHAFT ZUR FORDERUNG DER WISSENSCHAFTEN E.V. (Munich).
"Anti-IgG nanobodies" was invented by Dirk Gorlich (Gottingen, Germany) and Tino Pleiner (Gottingen, Germany).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to novel anti-IgG nanobodies, particularly nanobodies directed against rabbit or mouse IgG. Further, the invention relates to the use of said nanobodies and methods for producing them."
The patent was filed on Oct. 11, 2018, under Application No. 16/754,847.
