US Patent Issued to Marvell Asia on Sept. 8 for "Adaptive frame alignment" (Canadian, American, German Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,732,397, issued on Sept. 8, was assigned to Marvell Asia Pte Ltd (Singapore).

"Adaptive frame alignment" was invented by Peter Van Dyck (Bruggen, Germany), Seid Alireza Razavi Majomard (Belmont, Calif.) and Ehab Tahir (Mississauga, Canada).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure describes apparatuses and methods for adaptive frame alignment for a receiver. In some aspects, an adaptive frame aligner detects a failure by a decoder to decode a frame of symbols that are stored in a buffer.
