ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,546,039, issued on Feb. 10, was assigned to MAGNERA Corp. (Charlotte, N.C.).

"Nonwoven fabrics including recycled polypropylene" was invented by Miriam Malocho (Monchengladbach, Germany) and Patrick Harz (Berlin).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Nonwoven fabrics are provided that include a first meltblown layer, in which the first meltblown layer comprises a first polymeric material including (i) a first polymer component and (ii) optionally one or more first additives. The first polymer component comprises a first recycled-polypropylene (rPP)."
