ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,544,134, issued on Feb. 10, was assigned to LUTRONIC Corp. (Goyang-si, South Korea).
"Method for treating acne using laser" was invented by Soo Il Chun (Seoul, South Korea).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed is a method for treating acne using a laser, and the method includes: positioning a handpiece on a skin surface where the acne is located; and irradiating a therapeutic light through the handpiece to denature some tissues beneath the acne."
The patent was filed on Aug. 29, 2023, under Application No. 18/457,700.
