ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,410,436, issued on Sept. 9, was assigned to LONZA HOUSTON INC. (Pearland, Texas).

"Adeno-associated virus (AAV) producer cell lines" was invented by Bingnan Gu (Pearland, Texas), Gang Li (Pearland, Texas) and Caitlin Tripp (Pearland, Texas).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure relates to nucleic acids encoding helper genes and adeno-associated virus (AAV) genes, under the control of inducible promoters.
