ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,594,166, issued on April 7, was assigned to Longeviti Neuro Solutions Inc. (Baltimore).
"Method for manufacturing a low-profile intercranial device and the low-profile intercranial device manufactured thereby" was invented by Chad R. Gordon (Cockeysville, Md.) and Jesse Christopher (Hunt Valley, Md.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A low-profile intercranial device including a low-profile static cranial implant and a functional neurosurgical implant. The low-profile static cranial implant and the functional neurosurgical implant are virtually designed and interdigitated prior to physical assembly of the low-profile intercranial device."
