ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,660,111, issued on June 16, was assigned to Logistics & Supply Chain MultiTech R&D Centre Ltd. (Pok Fu Lam, Hong Kong).
"Location tag housing" was invented by Chin Yiu Shum (Pok Fu Lam, Hong Kong) and Kee Yin Ng (Pok Fu Lam, Hong Kong).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A location tag housing for retaining a location tag including a base, a cover adapted to be positioned on and attachable the base, the base and the cover defining a receptacle for retaining the location tag, wherein the base and cover defining a smooth and seamless structure when the cover is attached to the base."
