ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,552,459, issued on Feb. 17, was assigned to LIPPERT COMPONENTS INC. (Elkhart, Ind.).
"Trailer table storage compartment" was invented by Timothy D. Schultz (Cassopolis, Mich.) and Jason Woodford (Soldotna, Alaska).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A trailer chassis includes a first frame beam, a second frame beam parallel to and spaced from the first frame beam, and a plurality of cross members connected between the first frame beam and the second frame beam. A storage compartment for a folding table or the like is cooperable with the first and second frame beams."
