ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,552,322, issued on Feb. 17, was assigned to LIPPERT COMPONENTS INC. (Elkhart, Ind.).
"Entry steps with center stringer" was invented by Tyler Nine (Osceola, Ind.), Brandon Joseph Williams (Warsaw, Ind.), Nicholas Cornett (Granger, Ind.) and Bryan J. Roth (Topeka, Ind.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A stair assembly suited for a vehicle entrance includes a plurality of step treads, each of the step treads having a tread width, and a stringer to which the plurality of step treads are secured. The stringer is positioned within the tread width."
