ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,531,262, issued on Jan. 20, was assigned to LG Energy Solution Ltd. (Seoul, South Korea).
"Suction apparatus" was invented by Choon Kwon Kang (Daejeon, South Korea).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The disclosed technology relates to a suction apparatus. More specifically, the suction apparatus of the present invention can take out battery cells in a unit of one sheet without damage through a main cam that horizontally reciprocates and a suction unit that moves vertically and horizontally in conjunction with the main cam."
The patent was filed on Feb. 27, 2023, under Application No. 18/574,528.
