US Patent Issued to LG Display on Oct. 20 for "Display device" (South Korean Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,772,665, issued on Oct. 20, was assigned to LG Display Co. Ltd. (Seoul, South Korea).

"Display device" was invented by Yongmin Kim (Paju-si, South Korea) and SeungHee Nam (Paju-si, South Korea).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A display device is disclosed. Specifically, there may be provided a display device capable of achieving excellent display quality in a specific viewing angle direction by including a first light emitting portion and a second light emitting portion positioned to surround a portion of a perimeter of the first light emitting portion."

The patent was filed on Aug. 7, 2023, under Application No. 18/231,198.
