US Patent Issued to LG Display on June 23 for "Display device and method of fabricating the same" (South Korean Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,666,760, issued on June 23, was assigned to LG Display Co. Ltd. (Seoul, South Korea).

"Display device and method of fabricating the same" was invented by JungSun Beak (Paju-si, South Korea) and Seongjoo Lee (Goyang-si, South Korea).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "There is provided a display device. The display device includes an optical structure disposed to increase the amount of light emitted from a light-emitting diode; and a bank coupled with the optical structure."

The patent was filed on Oct. 12, 2023, under Application No. 18/486,029.
