US Patent Issued to LG Chem on Aug. 25 for "Super absorbent polymer" (South Korean Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,714,982, issued on Aug. 25, was assigned to LG Chem Ltd. (Seoul, South Korea).

"Super absorbent polymer" was invented by Sung Soo Park (Daejeon, South Korea), Kwangin Shin (Daejeon, South Korea), Heechang Woo (Daejeon, South Korea) and Junwye Lee (Daejeon, South Korea).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure relates to a super absorbent polymer exhibiting an improved absorption rate and improved absorption performance."
