ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,673,957, issued on July 7, was assigned to LAPKO INC (Las Vegas).

"Inhibition of glial cell activation" was invented by Bruce Kovacs (Long Beach, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Compounds and methods useful for inhibition of glial cell activation and for the treatment of diseases associated with increased glial cell activation in mammalian species including humans are presented."

The patent was filed on Aug. 8, 2025, under Application No. 19/295,468.
