ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,617,624, issued on May 5, was assigned to Laitram LLC (Harahan, La.).
"Modular metal-link conveyor belt" was invented by David W. Bogle (Franklinton, La.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Metal-link conveyor belt modules and belts made of such modules. The belt modules have a crossbar. Links extend from opposite sides of the crossbar and terminate in loops. The links have regions of different widths tailored to various operational requirements."
The patent was filed on March 14, 2023, under Application No. 18/843,976.
