"Oily solid cosmetic" was invented by Kyosuke Nakamura (Tokyo) and Koichi Hata (Tokyo).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to an oily solid cosmetic comprising (A) candelilla wax, (B) a plant-based and/or animal based wax with a melting point of 70deg C. or higher, (C) a monoester of a monovalent straight-chain saturated fatty acid and a monohydric straight-chain saturated aliphatic alcohol, having a total of 40 to 48 carbon atoms, and (D) at least one selected from the group consisting of (polyglyceryl-2 isostearate/dimer d...
