ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,589,169, issued on March 31, was assigned to KYUNGPOOK NATIONAL UNIVERSITY INDUSTRY-ACADEMIC COOPERATION FOUNDATION (Daegu, South Korea).

"Compound and MRI contrast agent containing same" was invented by Yong Min Chang (Daegu, South Korea) and Ah Rum Baek (Daegu, South Korea).
