ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,594,830, issued on April 7, was assigned to Kubota Corp. (Osaka, Japan).

"Electric work vehicle" was invented by David Kieke (Fremont, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An electric work vehicle includes a rear housing, a motor to drive a rear wheel through a gearing, the motor being supported by the rear housing, and a Power Take-Off (PTO) motor to drive a PTO, the PTO motor being supported by the rear housing. The PTO motor is located forward of the motor in a front-rear direction of the electric work vehicle."

The patent was filed on Dec. 7, 2023, under Application No. 18/532,075.
