ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,297,633, issued on May 13, was assigned to Kohler Co. (Kohler, Wis.).
"Apron front sink with interchangeable faces" was invented by Jason R. Miller (Sheboygan Falls, Wis.) and Ryan R. Detlaff (Sheboygan, Wis.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A sink includes a basin configured to hold water, an apron extending from a front of the basin and having a plurality of walls and a rear surface defining an opening in a front of the apron, and a panel assembly removably received in the opening, where the outer perimeter of the panel assembly is spaced from an inner perimeter of the plurality of walls of the apron."
