ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,528,946, issued on Jan. 20, was assigned to Kodak Alaris LLC (Rochester, N.Y.).
"Yellow and magenta donor formulations for increased red vividness" was invented by David G. Foster (West Henrietta, N.Y.), Donald M. Reiman (Caledonia, N.Y.), Jacob Pylypciw (Rochester, N.Y.) and Michael H. Schild (Honeoye Falls, N.Y.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Yellow and magenta donor formulations that produce higher quality prints with fewer defects. The yellow and magenta formulas can be combined to form a red color representation with higher vividness and gamut."
