ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,594,742, issued on April 7, was assigned to KOBE STEEL LTD. (Hyogo, Japan).

"Metal-resin composite and method and apparatus for manufacturing the same" was invented by Shu Sekiguchi (Kobe, Japan), Kenichi Watanabe (Kobe, Japan) and Hiroko Kashima (Kobe, Japan).
