ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,672,687, issued on July 7, was assigned to Kiss Nail Products Inc. (Port Washington, N.Y.).
"Ready-to-use eyelash extensions" was invented by Kichul Ahn (Jericho, N.Y.), Jieun Kim (Woodside, N.Y.) and Jane Bang (Bayside, N.Y.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An artificial eyelash extension system is described. The system uses a plurality of eyelash filaments. A support strip is attached to the bases of the eyelash filaments. An adhesive element is applied before the artificial eyelash extension system is packaged for sale to a user. A method for applying artificial eyelash extensions is also described."
