ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,673,922, issued on July 7, was assigned to KING FAISAL UNIVERSITY (Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia).
"5-(3-bromophenyl)-3-((diethylamino)methyl)-5-methylimidazolidine-2,4-dioneas" was invented by Yousef Saad Yousef Aldabayan (Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia) and Hany Mohamed Abd El-Lateef Ahmed (Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A compound 5-(3-bromophenyl)-3-((diethylamino)methyl)-5-methylimidazolidine-2,4-dione, its synthesis, use as an antibacterial agent and an inhibitor of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)."
