ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,629,554, issued on May 19, was assigned to Kidde Technologies Inc. (Wilson, N.C.).

"Dry chemical fire suppressant for a battery pack" was invented by John W. Porterfield (Rolesville, N.C.), Robert Dunster (Slough, Great Britain), Albert C. Rouse (Prior Lake, Minn.) and Eugen Berns (Tonisvorst, Germany).
