ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,605,825, issued on April 21, was assigned to Kawasaki Jukogyo K.K. (Kobe, Japan).
"Robot" was invented by Takeshi Shibata (Kobe, Japan) and Ryota Ono (Kobe, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A robot includes a robot arm and a hand. The hand includes a first hand a second hand arranged on or above the first hand. At least one of the first hand the second hand has an airtight hollow hand space."
The patent was filed on Dec. 21, 2022, under Application No. 18/730,031.
