ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,599,591, issued on April 14, was assigned to Jyvaskylan yliopisto (Jyvaskylan yliopisto, Finland).

"Vemurafenib and salts thereof for use in the treatment of enteroviral infections" was invented by Varpu Marjomaki (Jyvaskyla, Finland), Mira Laajala (Jyvaskyla, Finland) and Mari Martikainen (Jyvaskyla, Finland).
