ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,595,052, issued on April 7, was assigned to Joby Aero Inc. (Santa Cruz, Calif.).
"Tilt rotor vertical take-off and landing aerial vehicle" was invented by Ian Andreas Villa (San Francisco), Jacek Kawecki (San Francisco), Jalen Christian Doherty (San Francisco), Ryan Naru (Oakland, Calif.), Mark Moore (Henderson, Nev.), Alex Michael Gary (San Luis Obispo, Calif.), Adam Chase (San Luis Obispo, Calif.), Matthew William Derkach (San Francisco) and Philipp Haban (Pittsburgh).
