ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,595,059, issued on April 7, was assigned to JetZero Inc. (Long Beach, Calif.).

"Triangular galley on a blended wing body aircraft" was invented by Scott Savian (Los Angeles) and Ian Geoffrey Scoley (Huntington Beach, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A blended wing body (BWB) aircraft having a blended wing body having a main body and wings with no clear demarcation between the wings and the main body along a leading edge of the BWB aircraft, a passenger cabin located within the main body and a galley located within the passenger cabin, wherein the galley includes a substantially triangular shape."
