ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,414,558, issued on Sept. 16, was assigned to JAPANESE RED CROSS SOCIETY (Tokyo) and ZENOGEN PHARMA Co. LTD. (Fukushima, Japan).

"Method for administering umbilical cord blood or peripheral blood" was invented by Minoko Takanashi (Tokyo), Miyuki Ito (Tokyo) and Kohichi Saze (Fukushima, Japan).
